Dr. Neel R. Patel is a board-certified cardiologist and the founder of Central Florida Heart Care, where he has dedicated over 20 years to delivering compassionate, cutting-edge cardiovascular care. He is known for his expertise in preventive cardiology, cardiometabolic health, and advanced lipid management, with a focus on reducing hospitalizations through proactive, personalized care plans. His daily practice combines deep clinical experience with innovative technologies, seeing 40–60 patients per day and managing complex conditions including atherosclerotic heart disease, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, and homozygous hyperlipidemia.

A pioneer in tech-driven heart care, Dr. Patel is also the Chief Medical Officer and CEO of MD Connect, where he has led the development of remote patient monitoring platforms aimed at improving outcomes for high-risk cardiac patients. As the founder of Sugar10 Health, he created community-focused programs targeting diabetes and cardiovascular disease prevention. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Patel is an active clinical researcher and national consultant speaker, contributing to major cardiometabolic outcome trials and educational initiatives with leading pharmaceutical organizations such as Novo Nordisk and Amgen.

Dr. Patel serves as an assistant clinical professor at Florida State University, Nova Southeastern University, and other medical schools, mentoring the next generation of physicians. His academic appointments, combined with his roles on hospital boards and within accountable care organizations, reflect his commitment to advancing healthcare on both individual and systemic levels.
