Maiya Patel, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with clinical experience in cardiology, women’s health, and chronic disease management. Her calm, thoughtful approach and strong communication skills help her build trust with patients across all backgrounds.

Maiya began her nursing career at AdventHealth Orlando in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit, where she cared for patients recovering from pacemaker placement, coronary artery bypass grafts, and valve surgeries. She has also served in oncology and telemetry units, developing a strong understanding of high-acuity care and complex patient needs.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Maiya completed over 700 hours of clinical rotations across primary care, women’s health, and pediatrics. She managed a wide range of conditions—such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and anxiety—that are closely linked to long-term cardiovascular health. Her passion lies in preventive care, where she focuses on early risk detection, health education, and helping patients build sustainable lifestyle changes.
